On behalf of our client we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join their Isle of Man team.


Our client:

L'Objet is a luxury lifestyle brand renowned for its exquisite home decor and accessories and luxury personal and home fragrances. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join their dynamic team and oversee all financial aspects of operations.


As the Senior Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You will be responsible for producing financial statements, managing the month-end and year-end closing process, project cost monitoring and control, budgeting, forecasting, and leading a small accounting team of L’Objet and its affiliates located in Isle of Man, Dallas, and Alcobaca. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving financial success and supporting our strategic growth.





Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Produce accurate financial statements, ensure compliance with US GAAP, UK GAAP and Isle of Man regulations, and prepare tax and related compliance returns.
  • Month-End and Year-End Closing: Lead the closing process, reconcile accounts, and prepare journal entries.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets and forecasts, monitor variances, and provide financial insights.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a small accounting team, provide guidance, and coordinate with external professionals.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee General Ledger, A/P, A/R, Inventory, and Cash Control accounting. Ensure proper separation of duties and other administrative oversight.
  • ERP Implementation: Assist in the transition to NetSuite ERP and ensure smooth integration.
  • Routine Financial Tasks: Prepare weekly reports, track key metrics, and perform daily bank account tasks.


What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and at least 10 years Accounts Receivable/Payable experience
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Quick Books, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with NetSuite or other software used in wholesale and retail accounting operations.


Bonus points if you have:

  • Previous experience in consumer goods, retail and/or wholesale operations.
  • Bilingual (Familiarity with Spanish, French, or Portuguese would be beneficial)
