About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Development Executive to support the growth of two businesses within our group: Bullfinch, a leading recruitment and talent solutions provider, and Lemon Platypus, an innovative HR systems consultancy. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across two industries, driving business growth through strategic client engagement, event management, and marketing collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Relationship Building:
Identify, research, and target potential clients across recruitment and HR consultancy sectors.
Initiate outreach and develop relationships with prospective clients, fostering trust and engagement.
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
Event Management:
Plan, organize, and execute events, such as networking sessions, workshops, and client presentations, to promote Bullfinch and Lemon Platypus.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery.
Marketing Collaboration:
Work closely with the marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns, aligning with business objectives.
Provide insights on client needs and market trends to shape effective marketing strategies.
Business Growth Initiatives:
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations that align with company goals.
Monitor industry trends to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Reporting and Analysis:
Track and report on business development activities and outcomes.
Use data insights to refine strategies and improve effectiveness.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven experience in business development, sales, or client-facing roles.
Strong organizational skills, with a knack for event planning and management.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams, particularly with marketing and operational functions.
Analytical mindset with the ability to track and interpret performance data.
Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
